Diving San Diego

THE PURPOSE:
To create a searchable database containing a taxonomy of marine life found in Southern California.

THE PROGRESS:
The database query page is now live. The database contains 70 records at this time. I will continue to add records throughout the year.

INSTRUCTIONS:
Each query is an exact match of words in the database. Each word of a common name is capitalized (i.e. Pacific Angel Shark, California Sheephead, Giant Sea Bass, Black And Yellow Rockfish, Thornback Guitarfish, etc.). The best query will be the scientific name or species name (i.e. Squatina californica, Mola mola, etc.). If your query doesn't produce results the species is not in the database or your parameters are incorrect. To show the entire database query "Animalia." Most tables are alphabetically sortable by clicking on the column header (i.e. Phylum, Class, etc.) Tables with more than 40 records will have page numbers on the bottom.
